While not every single one of them gets a happy ending, they all manage to show how the joyously complicated nature of love. It premiered in on Showtime with the last episode aired in lasting a successful five seasons. Years ago I once said Brian and Justin had the best on-screen chemistry I had ever seen in the drama….

While there have been many great gay/lesbian couples on television since the ’90s, in the past ten years we have seen a spike in a wider spectrum of LGBTQ+ representation.
Across many genres, LGBTQ representation has risen steadily; most importantly, the love stories told only continue to become more mainstream and filled with joy. Not every fate on this list is a good one, and some end tragically, but each story is rooted in captivating performances and some of the most romantic moments ever to grace the small screen.
